MAKING A DIFFERENCE HERE IN TUCSON
New Life believes that our primary outreach is to our local community. God chose to locate New Life in Tucson and there are multitudes of hurting people who desperately need to know God. We strive to equip and inspire people to come alongside and serve in our city to be able to reach many with the transformational power of the Gospel.

Before serving at New Life, Paul was an executive in the commercial landscape construction field, and spent time in education and finance as well. Maureen Albert
One of our primary outreach heartbeats at New Life is our school partnerships. Quail Run, DeGrazia, and Coyote Trail Elementary Schools are our current schools. We desire to show we care by building a relationship with the school’s teachers and staff, as well as the children and families that attend the school. Service projects, supply drives, treats for the teachers, holiday blessings, and reading or tutoring in the classroom are just a few of the ways we can lend a hand. Our favorite way to get to serve is through doing an after-school Christian club. We love to be able to care for the staff and families at the schools. FOSTER & ADOPTIVE CARE ENCOURAGEMENT (FACE) CONNECTION GROUP
A Christ-centered small group for those engaged in any aspect of foster care or adoption is here for all who need connection. We will meet together to fellowship face to face and walk through the challenges that come, while also celebrating the victories. All are welcome including those who are praying about becoming involved. The meetings will be held every THIRD Thursday of the month from 6:00-7:30pm. Childcare is provided for the monthly meetings, but you must sign up for it. For more information and address of the home where FACE will be, please follow this link:

KNOT SEW PERFECT
Knot Sew Perfect invites you to join them at their monthly meetings! Sewing skills are beneficial, but not necessary. A heart to serve our community and a willingness to learn are all you need. Experienced seamstresses will be teaching lessons on how to use a sewing machine. Projects for the community and our ministry partners will be made during the meetings. Come and join in the fun and community on the 1st & 3rd Thursday of every month in Room 7 from 9am-12pm. If you have any questions about KSP, please email Theresa Thomas.
MORE THAN A BED
More Than a Bed is a Christian resource center for Arizona foster, kinship, and adoptive families for the children in their homes. The 5,000 square foot warehouse holds clothing, beds, household items, shoes, furniture, cribs, car seats, and more. MTaB offers these items, including programs and events throughout the year to the families at no charge.
GAP MINISTRIES
Standing in the GAP to bring HELP to Children, HEALING to Families and HOPE to our Community. GAP Ministries is all about impacting One Life. Because we believe that each and every person matters to God, we strive to lift up each child we care for, and each individual we serve to become all God made them to be and live out their best life.
GOSPEL RESCUE MISSION (GRM)
Where Homelessness Ends and Lives are Restored
That starts with treating people with love, dignity, and respect. We provide for basic needs such as shelter, food, and clothing. We also provide addiction recovery, employment, and housing programs to those experiencing homelessness. Furthermore, we partner with over 30 organizations to provide even more services to individuals and families in need. And we reach out to the community to offer help for those on the brink of homelessness.
OCJ KIDS
OCJ Kids (Opportunity Community & Justice for Kids) is a ministry that has been in Phoenix since 1992 and has expanded to Tucson. OCJ Kids provides resources for many aspects of the foster system. They equip youth with skills and tools to journey through life successfully and provide ‘aging out’ assistance. OCJ connects the faith community with youth in group homes to provide an adult they can count on; a mentor-type relationship. They have a cell phone program and a program that seeks to bring awareness to youth in a group home of the different trade careers. There are so many ways that they are making an impact for children and teens living in foster care. We have teams at New Life that you can join to mentor children by visiting them in the group homes in Tucson. Two people from the team visit the home once or twice a month depending on your availability to do fun activities and build relationships with the youth in the home. There are all girls' and boys' houses as well as a sibling home. OCJ provides all of the training plus the background check and fingerprinting that the state requires.
