DESCRIPTION:If your child is currently in Kindergarten – 6th grade\, he/she MAY be moving up to the next grade level and/or classroom on Sunday\, May 26\, 2024. Our elementary teachers and junior high leaders are super excited for our annual promotion Sunday as they welcome new students and for the honor of continuing to walk alongside you as parents as your child continues to grow in their authentic faith here at New Life. We pray for each child and teen as they move up to a new classroom and new friends and leaders. \n  \nIf your child is in Nursery-5 years old\, they stay in the same room at this time as we promote them around their birthdates.  Only the current K-6th graders are affected by Promotion Sunday because our classrooms accommodate two and three grades on Sunday mornings. \n  \nIf your child(ren) is moving to a different classroom\, new pink cards may be issued. You can find these at Children’s Check-In. Our greeters will be happy to assist you. \nOn May 26\, we will give our upcoming 1st graders a Bible as they enter their new classroom. On May 19\, we will give our upcoming 7th graders a Bible as their graduation present from Children’s Ministry. These upcoming 7th graders will begin Student Ministry on May 26\, which meets on Sunday nights from 6-8:00 p.m. For more information about SM\, check out their website at newlifetucson.com/student. \n  \nPlease know that we are doing everything possible to ensure this transition is done well and with care. Each family whose children have attended in the past six months will receive a letter in the mail with details about their child’s classroom. DESCRIPTION:FACE is a Christ-centered small group for those engaged in any aspect of foster care or adoption is here for all who need connection. We will meet to fellowship face to face and walk through the challenges that come while also celebrating the victories. Every THIRD Thursday of the month from 6:00-7:30pm. Childcare is provided for the monthly meetings\, but you must sign up for it (please see the link on this page). For more information and the address of the home where FACE will be\, please CLICK HERE \n  \nWe are having our Spring Celebration on May 16th from 6:00-7:30pm…if you have been wondering about checking out FACE\, this is a great opportunity to do so. Dinner will be served and we will have childcare with a craft for the kiddos. You must sign up so that we can plan accordingly and also must register for childcare by May 13th.
